Global leading pioneer O-Net which is manufacturer of optical connectivity products for telecommunication networks and data centers, participated in the 21st China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) 2019 with its latest products and technologies, and demonstrated the dynamic link test of 400G QGFD-DD active optical cable (AOC) in the exhibition area, which received keen attention from industry colleagues.
With 5G deployment, and the continuous expansion of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and video workloads, the demand for bandwidth in data centers is increasing, creating the urgency to deploy 400G.The 400G AOC launched by O-Net solves the problem of short-distance interconnection within ultra-large data centers.
O-Net 400G AOC is based on PAM4 VCSEL laser plan and adopts mature COB packaging platform, which has significant advantages of high density, high reliability and excellent connectivity transmission performance. The built-in digital processing chip of the product, in addition to providing the digital clock recovery function provided by CDR, can also carry out dispersion compensation operation on AOC products, remove noise, nonlinear and other interference factors, the product channel error rate (BER) reaches below 1E-10, to provide sufficient margin for customer application scenarios.
During the exhibition, industry colleagues also expressed strong interest in O-Net line/customer side products and optical components, and reached a number of cooperation intentions.
