Since 2023, with generative AI tools represented by ChatGPT leading a new round of technological revolution, computing power is facing explosive growth demand. In response to the new opportunities brought by the iterative upgrade of AI computing power, O-Net has promoted various technical solutions with high speed, low power consumption, and high integration. We released various optical transceivers for long-distance and short-distance communication as well as the high-speed AOC, helping customer to build a communication bridge for AI computing power networks.
O-Net's new generation products cover both of supporting technologies for network interconnection: intensity modulation direct detection (IMDD) and coherent detection technology. The 800G direct modulation product is based on a self-developed silicon platform. The chip is compatible with both DSP and LPO, which can correspond to different communication scenarios. The coherent detection products are based on indium phosphide and silicon photonic, which can provide up to 130GBaud baud rate. According to the modulation code type, it can cover 800G/1.6T communication applications.
In response to the trend of miniaturization of high-speed transmission modules, O-Net has launched QSFP-DD EDFA, which is applied to data center interconnection and supports customized optical performance. At the same time, O-Net also maintains a leading advantage for the amplification inside the high-speed coherent transceivers. We can provide not only the compact single channel EDFA with customized mechanical shape, but also a variety of integrated and miniaturized passive devices, including compact tunable filters, VOA, hybrid isolators integrated with WDM, coupler, PD and other functions, making it convenient for customers to choose flexibly. The new generation of foldable isolators, folded PMTC that the company innovated have overturned the traditional way of fiber output from both ends of these devices, and changed to single side fiber output, making it easier for customers to do the fiber layout in the limited module spaces.
In the field of transmission, O-Net has launched EDFAs for C120 and L120, as well as integrated modules with different passive functions such as WDM, VOA, PD, etc., to help expand optical networks to C++ and L++. At the same time, O-Net has also launched multi-port optical switch series with port count up to 1x128, paired with C120/L120 OCM and >40dB high dynamic range OTDR, to help customers build intelligent optical networks.
In the field of basic components, in addition to continuing the advantages of high-quality free space isolato (FSI), O-Net also provide customizes integrated products of receptacle, micro optics, and FSI, making the packaging more convinient and efficient.
