O-Net Technologies participated in the 2024 ECOC exhibition which was held at the Frankfurt Convention Center in Germany from September 23 to 25, 2024. As a leading supplier of components/modules/subsystems in the optical communication industry, O-Net Technology exhibited a rich product line of optical network products, from basic optical components to intelligent optical modules and line-cards, which has attracted many important customers' inquiries.
In the exhibition, as a member of the Optical Internet Forum (OIF), O-Net Technology showed the small size pluggable external light source module (ELSFP) with UHP Class (Ultra High Power Class, 23dBm) on OIF booth. This product is a key product for CPO application. This module has a leading advantage in the market by consuming more than 1W less power than similar products at the same high output power.
In addition to the on-site performance demonstration of UHP ELSFP at the OIF booth, O-Net Technology also conducted on-site performance demonstrations of three important new products at its own booth. The first one is a live demonstration of the 25km transmission by the 400G Coherent Lite, which is made from O-Net's self-developed silicon photonics chip. It can meet the high-speed and long-distance transmission requirement from high speed data centers. Next is the high-power ITLA product, which use the external cavity design and self-made gain chip from O-Net Technology 3SP subsidiary. The product’s output linewidth is less than 1K Hz, and the stable output power is maintained at 18dBm. Its comprehensive performance has a leading position in the market. The third one is the transmission performance demonstration of 800G 2xDR4, which has the characteristic of lower power consumption among similar modules, helping large data centers and high-performance computers reduce energy consumption. In addition, the company also highlighted important products such as integrated linecard which integrated WSS, OTDR, OCM, EDFA, and Optical Circuit Switch (OCS) for large data centers.
